My name is Lisa (or Dr. W.)

I have spent the last 10 years working in higher education. I started as a student worker, research assistant, and now in the faculty role. Higher education has always been my dream, but I did not always know how to get there. As the daughter of immigrants from Poland, getting a college degree was always the dream. The journey there was difficult and full of confusion. I am glad I figured it out because it opened a world of opportunities for me! Now I want to share what I know at Lead with Dr. W. I am sharing what I have learned about the before, during, and after college journey here. Choose from coaching sessions, courses, or training sessions to help guide this process. College can be confusing but it doesn't have to be.

My method is supported by the research I have conducted during my career

As a faculty member, I have spent years researching college choice and access.  My specific area of focus is on students who are the first in their families to attend college.  The process I use at Lead with Dr. W. is grounded and supported by research. 

I have presented at conferences at the regional, national, and international levels on this topic.  In addition, I have published articles.  Below is a selection of my publications:
